A US federal court has commenced proceedings for the confiscation of 127,271 BTC, valued at $14.1 billion, as part of a major cryptocurrency fraud investigation. This process could become one of the largest augmentations to the strategic digital asset reserve created by President Donald Trump in March 2025.
